So last Saturday I taught a still life workshop using acrylics. Before the workshop I brushed up (pardon the pun) on how to paint a still life the way the masters always have. Very interesting researh and a great learning experience for me. So I came home and had to really put it to the test. I did several different still lifes and had a blast. I used very loose brush strokes and finished each painting within a matter of hours. Here's one of them.

A Shoulder To Lean On
I've been lazy for the last two weeks but I'm now back at it. I'll get back on the two paintings I started a couple weeks ago later.
In the mean time I wanted to paint these guys.
I took the picture on the way back from Austin and have been wanting to paint them.

New Duck Collection
I've not worked on any of the studio projects this week but I have started a collection of ducks.
Playing around with watercolors.
You can see the rest of the collection on my website at www.WildlifeAndSportingArt.com
I plan on getting back on the studio paintings tomorrow.
Tonight we are going to the Weimeraner Rescue Foundations annual fundraiser, "The 2010 Weim and Cheese" where the Weimeraner painting will be auctioned off.
I'll post pictures of the event and the results.
